believing in charms and now there is nothing left to lose so can we sit a while and write a story? make love to Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise? can we share a fantasy a passionate ecstasy or just rest so comfortably in each others arms can we come in from the rain leave behind the world of pain go crazy or just be sane believing in charms and maybe while we're not looking, lost in a fantasy something real will sneak up to become you and me but even if nothing comes, we can share a dream we've got nothing to lose, so it seems and so the old dreams have all been broken and now there is nothing left to lose so can we sit a while and write a story? make love to Meg Ryan or to Drew? maybe it's a fantasy accident or destiny a dream to rest comfortably in somebody's arms finding shelter from the storm feeling safe, and sure, and warm once it used to be called corn believing in charms hopefully when no one's looking, lost in fantasy something real will sneak up and become reality but even if nothing comes, we can share a day we've got nothing to lose, anyway
